Welcome from our President!

My name is Brooke Miller and I am beyond honored and excited to be serving as the president of Aggie Sisters in Healthcare for the 2020-2021 school year. I joined ASH my freshman year and it was by far the best decision I made in college.

I am from San Antonio, Texas and I am the loudest and proudest member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2021, A-WHOOP!! I am a Community Health major and will soon be applying to PA school and hope to pursue a career in sports medicine.

ASH has helped me grow and improve myself in so many ways. I have made so many friends, learned a significant amount about my  future career and have had opportunities I wouldn’t have had anywhere else. My favorite thing about ASH is that everyone is so passionate, welcoming, and we are all working towards the same goal. There is no competition between members and it's just everyone building each other up and pushing everyone to be the best version of themselves and helping wherever they can!

ASH is very unique as we have members entering into all areas of healthcare. We have seven subcommittees including medical, nursing, physician assistant, therapy, dental, pharmacy and vet! We host panel meetings, application workshops and provide our members as many resources as possible to prepare them for their future careers. We also have many sisterhood opportunities including big little mentorships, retreat and fun activities to bring our members closer and motivate each other towards our professional goals.

Some of my favorite ASH activities include movie nights, service events, tailgates and formal! While we are not entirely sure how this school year will play out with COVID-19, our officer team is working hard to plan fun and safe activities for our members.
